Targeted website traffic is by no means a guessing game. It is an exact science that takes time and effort to get right. The only way to get more website traffic is to reach the audience you designed your website after.
Your site might be pretty and interesting, but the information is useless unless the information is useful to the person reading it. For example: when you browse a book at Amazon.com, you see a list of other books people have bought in that same category. From that list, you might decide to buy again — you’ve just been targeted.
Targeted website traffic and guaranteed traffic are not the same thing. You don’t want to attract just anybody and everybody to your site. You want a specific client — one that will benefit from your information or product, ultimately becoming a loyal customer.

Generally, when a person first chooses to get involved in affiliate marketing they will be given advice about setting up an online business relating to something they know or are passionate about. Yet what happens with a large number of people who choose to use this kind of strategy for their online business the results they see are rather poor and in a large number of cases after only a short period of time the business fails.
One of the reasons why so many online businesses fail where the owner has chosen to go with an affiliate product they know or are interested in is that there is very little demand for it. Instead if you would like to be countless other online businesses where there are owners are earning thousands even millions of dollars each year through affiliate marketing it is best to go for those that are not only highly in demand but which have high sales as well.

The only way to get success in the online world is to create a plan or blueprint or have one given to you. Then have the commitment, drive and ambition to take the necessary action to follow it through. It doesn’t matter if you’re selling your own ebooks, widgets or work as an affiliate for someone else you have to follow a route map to success and follow it through to the end.
We all know what can happen if we don’t make a plan, we dither, delay and fail. As the mantra goes - people don’t plan to fail, they fail to plan” - and yet we seem to be destined to fail and give up, time after time. So what goes wrong?
